Our Original Story
We began this journey as a landscape maintenance company that started growing very rapidly into snow removal. We tried every snow stake that was available at the time. But, nothing was easy to install or held up to the beating that plow drivers put them through. Wood snow stakes are bulky, take forever to install, and don't stand a chance if pushed over by a plow. Fiberglass stakes are hard to install, break easily, and cause a whole other set of issues, a.k.a. Fiberglass Splinters!
Developing A Game Changer
By the early 2000’s, our snow removal business had grown to the size that we were installing between 6,000-7,000 stakes every season. We tried every stake installation method from cordless drills with a dozen backup batteries, a screwdriver and a mallet, and a fence post-pounder... but we knew there had to be a better way!
Then it finally came to us; Why not try hollow high-density polyethylene stakes? They wouldn't crack, splinter, or break, and would be lightweight, allowing users to carry twice as much. Plus, they are reusable from year-to-year and are fade-resistant. We soon realized that the idea was quickly becoming a hit.
Engineering a Revolutionary Installation Tool
With that piece of the puzzle solved, we started to brainstorm ideas for an easier installation process. After a few sketches and a rough prototype, we knew we had something that was sure to be a game changer! Over the next decade, we tested our concept and made adjustments along the way.
Over that time, we had developed an installation tool that eliminates the need to drill or pound the stake into the ground. Instead, it lets the user insert the stake 6-8 inches into the ground with a single motion, allowing the user to insert hundreds of stakes in an hour. Now, our installation tool is used by thousands of top snow professionals!

A Nationwide Favorite
In the summer of 2017, it was time to show the world what we had created and make the leap into the nationwide market. We began an extensive marketing effort via social media, a website, networking via trade shows, and expanding our dealer network. Meanwhile, we were still brainstorming new products. Since then, we also created the carrying pack, more color options, 48" stakes, and much more is still in the works!
